Sumiserye (Part 1) manga
A manga-inspired comics/booklet series I wrote and drew myself in an attempt to make something out of middle school life. I hope this inspires other kids to create!

Sumiserye is an ongoing series. A Filipino term that means “making series”.
Part 1 is story I wrote about a teen trapped in a dystopian world but found friendship and family in two people who have deeply impacted her life and ideals. She’s your typical teenage girl with angst and spiraling emotions but through her new found friends she learned so much more than just navigating life. She learned how to fight, developed assassin skills, hacking, and how it is to work with a team.
